This DVD contains two NASA CONNECT episodes:


"Who Added the "Micro" to Gravity?" (30 minutes) This episode explores the subject of microgravity. Combustion science and the importance of fire safety on the space station are introduced. The episode explains how chemistry plays an important role in microgravity research and how NASA engineers and scientists use measurement, ratios and graphing to analyze data.


"Rocket to the Stars" (30 minutes) NASA engineers and scientists use algebra to study the transfer of energy on Earth and in space. They introduce exciting propulsion concepts that astronauts may use one day to explore the solar system and beyond.
